The Reel Pleasure is a 43 foot Viking yacht moored in Kawaihae Harbor. The Viking brand is synonymous with blue water performance and luxury. The Reel Pleasure encompasses all of this with a huge shaded fly bridge, an air conditioned cabin, full galley and all the highest tech fishing equipment available. She is equipped and ready to take you to some of the best fishing in Hawaii.

The pristine and still remote Kohala Coast is about as ideal of fishing grounds you can get, with great trolling grounds starting the second you exit the harbor. While the majority of Big Island sportfishing departs from the busy Kailua Kona’ s Honokohau Harbor, we are set apart in our own little niche.  The Kohala area has fewer commercial boats and great topography for trolling. In addition there are fish aggregation buoys nearby and we have a proven success rate for consistently catching large game fish!  We specialize in Mahi Mahi (Dorado), Ono (Wahoo), and Yellow Fin Tuna. We also catch Spearfish, Sailfish, and Striped and Blue Marlin quite often.

For the experienced lifelong angler or the first timer we have sport fishing to meet every style. Kids are welcome and the sightseers are never disappointed with the views and wildlife on the Kohala Coast.
